Tufting using a tufting gun is a modern take on the traditional craft of rug making. With this method you can get creative with design and create your own fluffy and colourful art piece in the form of a rug, wall-hanging, or anything you wish!

In this 1-hour taster session, you’ll each have a 20x20cm space – just the right size for a coaster or small wall hanging. Simple designs work best: think bold shapes like circles, hearts, or squares, and bright blocks of colour. Fine details can be tricky and time-consuming, so you’ll be asked to simplify anything too complex.

You’ll need to send the design you’d like to tuft at least 48 hours before your workshop. Please send final designs to tigerlilytufts@outlook.com. If you don’t send anything, you’ll need to freehand draw your design on the day.

This tufting workshop is perfect for all abilities, beginners included! You will be taught how to use a cut-pile tufting gun in the workshop and given a separate space to practise before starting your art piece.

Participants must be 18+ or 14+ when accompanied by an adult.

This is a tufting-focused workshop. Once you have tufted your design, I will back and finish your piece after. You will be able to pick up your work within 3 weeks and emailed once ready to collect.

Alternatively, I can post to you. You will need to cover full postage costs.

Changes or cancellations must be requested by email at least 14 days before your workshop and incur a £10 admin fee per person. Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds or reschedule with less than 14 days’ notice. If you book within 14 days of the workshop, cancellations or changes aren’t possible, so please double-check your dates before booking.
